Why I started this
Choosing a stick or shin guards can be confusing when you are starting hockey. I made MyHockeyFit as a free guide for our community. Now I’m looking for a few people who want to help test it, improve it and share it with other families.
Ways to help
You don’t need to be a programmer to join.
Test and give feedback
Try the stick and shin guard guides. Tell us what’s confusing and check whether the advice makes sense in a real store.
Build and improve the site
Help make the mobile experience clearer, fix bugs and work on new features. Small contributions are welcome.
Help hockey families find it
Share the project with interested families and coaches. Help write simple explanations for beginners.
Start small
We’ll begin with a small group and a four week trial. Volunteer when you have time. Eric will collect feedback and share what the team improves.
Everyone gets credit
With your permission, we’ll recognize your contribution to the project. For youth volunteers, a parent or guardian should be involved in joining and communications.
Interested in joining?
Tell us whether you would like to test, build or help share MyHockeyFit. No hockey experience is required for testing the beginner experience.
Thank you for joining in.
We’ll contact your parent or guardian about next steps.
